Hello ladies! So, yes, it’s actually happening. This past weekend we lost an hour of sleep for daylight savings time. About two weeks ago, Brazil and many other countries celebrated Carnival. And you know what that means – Brazilian Bikinis were everywhere! Days are gradually getting longer and warmer. The consistency of mother nature is something quite comforting. No matter what else happens, we can always count on the sun to rise and the seasons to change. As we prepare to enter Spring, this is certainly something to celebrate. SPRING IS COMING…and with it comes SPRING BREAK!
Students around the United States prepare for some well-deserved down time amidst the stress of their course work and everyday life. This week on the blog we are going explore the top three sexy Brazilian swimwear trends for the twenty-something Spring Breakers.
Animal Prints
Animal print bikinis are definitely trending this year. And of course, they are a perfect match for anyone who wants to get a little wild on Spring Break. Snake prints are trending on every runway and accessory, so, naturally, our number one best-selling snake swimwear print so far this year has been the Marbella print. It’s a black, white and silver cobra print. Formentera is a close second. It’s a shimmery gold leopard bikini print on shimmery fabric. If you are looking for a little more color, the Cadaques group is a multi-color abstract variation of the animal print. It uses olive green, apricot and brown, on an off-white background. These Brazilian bikinis are available in a variety of shapes and ranges of coverage to suit everybody – from skimpy Brazilian cut string scrunch tie side bottoms to the tie- knot ruched bandeau which is really supportive to the reversible triangle bikini top and many more. So don’t be shy…let your inner animal out.
Ribbed Swimwear in Spring Colors and Prints
As the weather warms up and the first buds of spring start to bloom, we tend to be drawn to the colors that we see in mature. Our rib collection is a virtual bouquet of spring colors. My favorite solids are the Coral Pink Rib which has a subtle sheen to it, and the Yellow Rib, which us the color of sunshine. FYI – these two look amazing when you get that base tan going. Speaking to tanning – for minimal tan lines, I would highly recommend the Scrunch Tie Side bottom in Brazilian Cut and the Padded Bandeau which are available in both of these colors. We also have two floral prints in the Ribbed fabric this year (trend spoiler: look for more ribbed prints next year)
Ruffles
There is something about ruffles that just screams Spring Break. Why do twenty-somethings love them so much? Well, there is something cute and fun about them which makes them reminiscent of childhood, but in an adult kind of way. This makes them flirty. Some top sellers for Spring Break are Cactus Ruffle off the shoulder top. It’s a cute novelty print of cactus floating on a pink on pink wave background. So much fun! By the way, this top looks great over your favorite denim shorts as well. The Pink Sunrise Neon Ruffle Top and Bottom are a great combination that will bet you noticed on the beach or in the hotel pool. Summer Petals Ruffle Triangle Top and Bottom are a great floral pair.
