2020 Swimwear Trend: High Leg Bikini

  

 

If you’re an 80’s baby, you’re definitely familiar with the show Baywatch.  The beautiful beach blonde Pamela Anderson’s character CJ Parker, arguably the most attractive female lifeguard in history, made the high leg one piece swimwear famous in the 1990’s and a huge fashion trend.  The series ran from 1989-2001 and every teenage girl dreamed of being CJ Parker, at least once.  Not only was she beautiful, but CJ also was living what we would call today “her best life” -  that California beach lifestyle…and it doesn’t hurt that all the boys chased her ;) We think this suit looks best in our solids, but there is a color to suit every girl.  This high leg one piece swimsuit is a tank style suit with a cut out back, fun tassels at the hips and scrunch on the rear.  It is available in all the Bossa Nova Colors which are Shimmer Blue, Shimmer Tan, Rose Gold, Black, Navy and Light Olive.  For an even sexier look, choose the Brazilian Cut.  This swimsuit is suitable for perkier girls, with smaller cup sizes.

 

 

 

The Underwire One Piece swimsuit is a perfect one piece for any body type.  A classic maillot, with a high cut leg, it accentuates the length of the leg.  Additional features like the sleek, smooth mid- section help to hide small imperfections that we all have.  The back of the suit is open with a clasp, bra style closure and adjustable shoulder straps.  My favorite feature is the underwire bust line that lifts and separates.  Perfect for larger cup sizes that need that extra support.  This suit is available in one print, the Cadaques, which is a multi-color modern leopard print in light olive, brown, apricot and off-white.  This one piece is also available in the same solids of the Bossa Nova collection as the one Tassels high leg one piece previously discussed.

 

 

 

The deep v-bikini bottom is classy and elegant.  It sits high on the hip but dips down low in the front, below the navel and also in the back, at the lower spine with a cross over that has gentile ruching.  The style is also ruched at the upper part of the hip.  This Brazilian bikini bottom is available in American or Brazilian bikini cut in all of the colors of the Bossa Nova Collection listed above, plus Marbella Print, Cadaques, Formentera, Las Salinas and Lazarote.

 

 

 

The Ruffle High Leg Bikini Bottom is a super sweet style that is high on the leg, dips down low in the front below the navel and runs straight along the back.  It has a ruffle detail in the hip area that’s fun and flirty.  This bottom is also available in all colors of the Bossa Nova Collection plus Ibiza print which is a shimmer yellow background with periwinkle blue dots, and La Palma print which is a delicate floral in hues of pale purplish pink and green on a white background. I love the way this style pairs with the Ruffle Trim Bandeau or the Reversible Ruffle Trim Triangle top.
